1. Introduction and scope

Spaidz, Inc. ("Spaidz," "we," "us," or "our") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use Spaidz services.

This policy applies across:

Spaidz mobile apps (for example, the Spaidz iOS app).
Spaidz websites and creator tools you may access in a browser (for example, pages under creators.spaidz.com used with your account).

Some details differ by platform (see Section 7 for cookies and web tracking). If something applies only to the iOS app, we say so explicitly.

By using our services, you agree to the practices described here, together with our Terms & Conditions.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account and authentication

We collect information you provide when you create or manage an account, including:

Email address and password (or equivalent credentials handled by our authentication provider, Amazon Cognito).
User identifiers assigned to your account (for example, an internal user id).
Role (Consumer or Creative), display name or profile fields you choose, and preferences (such as genre selections stored with your profile).

2.2 Subscriptions and payments

Depending on your device, plan, and flow:

Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit): When you subscribe or complete certain fees through Apple on an Apple device, Apple processes the payment under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. We receive information needed to validate purchases and provide access (such as transaction identifiers and subscription status we process through our backend). On iOS, consumer subscriptions and certain creative fees may use StoreKit when enabled in the product.

Stripe: For payments we route through Stripe (for example, creative flows where a card or Stripe Checkout path is used instead of Apple IAP, CPI deposits, payouts, or Stripe Connect onboarding to link a bank account), Stripe processes payment, banking, and tax-related information in accordance with Stripe’s terms and privacy policy. We receive transaction and account metadata (amounts, identifiers, payout status, tax verification state where applicable) needed to run the service—not full card numbers on our servers.

PayPal: If you save a PayPal email for USD cash-out (consumer CPI or creator UP Pay), we store that email on your account and send payout instructions to PayPal Business Payouts. PayPal processes the transfer under PayPal’s terms and privacy policy.

We may retain payment and earnings records as described in Section 10.

2.3 Viewing and usage activity (Consumers)

On supported builds we sync activity needed for features such as:

Continue watching (resume positions).
Viewing activity / history lists you can see in the app.
Completion or progress information relevant to CPI eligibility and product behavior.

We may also store thumbs-based content ratings you submit after qualifying playback, including the title identifier and rating (and optional watch metrics we send with that event).

When enabled for your account, we may sync Infinite Rotation Engine (IRE)-related preference or state so feeds behave consistently across devices.

2.4 Content you upload (Creatives)

If you upload titles, art, metadata, trailers, or verification documents:

Video, images, PDFs, and descriptive metadata you submit.
Automated safety signals: For uploads such as thumbnails, we may process still frames through automated checks in our cloud to enforce policy and legal obligations; this can include machine-generated labels or scores (not human review of every asset by default).

2.5 Communications

If you email support, privacy, abuse, or other Spaidz contacts, we collect the content of those messages and related contact details.

2.6 Technical and security data

When you use our APIs and streams, standard server and CDN logs may include items such as IP address, timestamps, app version, device/OS type, and request metadata for security, fraud prevention, reliability, and debugging.

iOS app — what we do not use (as of this policy date): We do not collect precise GPS location from the Spaidz iOS app for analytics. We do not integrate third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs for ads (for example, we do not use App Tracking Transparency for an advertising network). We do not run Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics SDKs inside the iOS app.

Optional / configurable: Push notifications are not required for core service in the current app configuration; if we enable them later, we will update this policy and the App Store App Privacy details accordingly.

3. How we use your information

We use information to:

Provide accounts, authentication, catalog browsing, and streaming.
Operate features such as continue watching, viewing history, ratings, IRE, and creative monetization tools.
Process payments, payouts, CPI, and subscription revenue share (UP%) in line with our Terms, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and disclosures at purchase—using Stripe and/or Apple as described above.
Verify Creatives, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce policies (including content safety signals).
Comply with law, tax, and regulatory obligations (including records for IRS or other tax forms where applicable).
Communicate with you about support, security, or legal matters.

We do not sell your personal information (see Section 4).

4. How we share your information

4.1 We do not sell personal information

Spaidz does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for monetary consideration.

4.2 Service providers and processors

We share information with vendors that process it on our behalf, including:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) — authentication (Cognito), storage (such as S3), databases, APIs, media delivery, and related cloud processing.
Stripe — payments, Connect accounts, payouts, tax and identity support as applicable.
Apple — In-App Purchase and related receipt / transaction validation for flows you complete through Apple.
Content delivery and streaming infrastructure associated with playback.

These providers are contractually or legally obligated to use data only to provide their services.

4.3 Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect Spaidz and our users, or to investigate fraud or security issues.

4.4 Business transfers

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; we will require the successor to honor this policy or give notice as required by law.

4.5 With your consent

We may share information when you explicitly agree.

5. Data security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for communications between the apps and our services, industry-standard cloud security controls, access restrictions, and monitoring appropriate to our size and risk.

Payments: Card and bank details for Stripe flows are handled primarily by Stripe under PCI-oriented practices; Apple handles payment data for In-App Purchase.

CPI payouts: Consumer incentives are contractual payments from Creatives’ budgets, processed through our payment stack—they are not gambling or random rewards. We use auditability and fraud checks appropriate to the product. Spaidz may use secure backend records for CPI and payouts; consumer-facing flows rely on Stripe and platform controls rather than user-managed cryptocurrency.

No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; if we learn of a breach that requires notification, we will follow applicable law.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise these rights, contact Privacy@Spaidz.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by law (often 30 days where applicable).

Marketing: If we send promotional email, we will provide an opt-out where required. Service-related and legal notices may continue.

7. Cookies, web tracking, and mobile

Websites and creator portals (browser): Pages you open in a browser may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure basic traffic or errors, or secure forms. Third-party technologies on those pages (for example payment or embedded widgets) are governed by those parties’ policies.

Spaidz iOS app: The native app does not use traditional browser cookies. Payment sheets may be presented by Apple or Stripe under their respective interfaces.

If we add optional first-party or third-party analytics or push notifications to the app in the future, we will update this policy and App Store App Privacy details accordingly.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States. Information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate or where users access the service.

If you are in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada, California, or other regions with specific laws, you may have additional rights (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA/CPRA). Contact Privacy@Spaidz.com (or EU-Privacy@Spaidz.com / CCPA@Spaidz.com as labeled in Section 12) for region-specific requests where applicable.

9. Children’s privacy

Spaidz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact Privacy@Spaidz.com so we can delete it promptly.

Teen and parental use: follow any age and supervision rules in your region and our Terms.

10. Retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. For example:

Account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.
Payment and tax records often longer (for example, multi-year retention for tax and accounting obligations).

Deletion: You may request account deletion by contacting Privacy@Spaidz.com. Some information may be retained where law or legitimate security or fraud needs require it.

Specific retention schedules may evolve; material changes will be reflected in this policy or companion documents.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated Last Updated date. If changes are material, we will provide notice as appropriate (for example, in-app notice or email).
